    Welcome to St. John the Evangelist's Faith Formation page!
    My name is Julie Bailey as the Faith Formation Coordinator, it's my privilege to welcome all our new and returning families for the 
    2025-2026 catechetical year. 
    This year's theme is: 

    “Always be ready to give an explanation…for a reason for your hope” 1 Peter 3:15

    Registration will open May 1st for  families with kids in  
    PreK - Confirmation. 
    Tuition is $115 per family til 8/1/25.
    A late fee of $25 will apply after August 2nd, 2025.
    No child will be denied catechesis due to financial hardship. Please contact our office to discuss assistance.

  • Raising Your Children in the catholic faith

    Our goal is to support parents in their role as primary teachers in the ways of faith. 

    Religious Education = Life-long Learning
     

    Growing In Faith Together (G.I.F.T.)                 We offer in-person Faith Formation sessions for families with children in grades PreK-7 on  TWO Sundays per month, Sept - May. We meet immediately after 11:15am Mass, from 12:30pm - 2pm. 
    * Children attend grade-level sessions.
    * Parents choose between attending the Parent Session, led by Deacon Alex DeLucenay,  or volunteering in a grade-level classroom.                                         

    ​Two-Year Confirmation Program 
    Year I and Year II teens meet TWO Sunday evenings per month. Each session begins with 5pm Mass, followed by a small meal, and class that ends at 7:30pm​
     

  • Volunteering

    Volunteers are needed at every level of Faith Formation! Are you interested in donating your time and talent to enrich the lives of our parishioners? We welcome all fully-initiated teens and adults (those who have been Confirmed) to be trained to volunteer (must be CaSE trained, sign a Volunteer Code of Conduct, and pass a background check).     Click our "Sacraments" Tab, then click "Confirmation" for complete information. Generally, youths in grade 8 begin our two-year Confirmation program and complete it in grade 9.
